It’s important to know that this option is not available at every table and that the dealer will still sweep your bet if you have a higher hand-total than the dealer.
Once all players have completed their hands, the dealer will reveal his or her hole card and follow specific rules to hit or stand. Generally, the dealer will hit on a hand total of 16 or less and must stand on a hand of 17 or more.
Some casinos will reduce the 3:2 payout for blackjacks to 6:5. This change increases the house edge and makes it more difficult for skilled players to win. It is important to always read the rules on the table before you make your bet.

Luck plays a role in any blackjack hand, but skill can significantly improve your chances of a positive outcome. Skilled players understand the basic rules of the game and use strategies that minimize the house edge. Effective bankroll management is also vital to long-term success at blackjack.
